Job summary

AO. Smith Corporation is seeking a CAD Supervisor to plan, assign, and supervise CAD/PMD/PLM activities within the CAD department at the Nashville area site.

The role focuses on drawing release, modeling, and ensuring compliance with drafting standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, 2–3 years in supervisory roles, and proficiency with SolidWorks and SAP PLM.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in CAD, Design or other equivalent science degree.
• A minimum of 5 years related work experience
• 2-3 years of Supervisory/Leadership expierence

Responsibilities

• Act as a super user for CAD / PMD / PLM software solutions within the Engineering department.
• Directly assists and trains CAD team members on CAD software solutions as needed.
• Assist in managing the Product Change Process (PCP) through assignment of resources and review of drawings for compliance.
