Job summary

TAIT seeks a CAD Technical Specialist – Manufacturing to create, implement and support Inventor and AutoCAD digital assets in Vault and to establish CAD workflows in close coordination with the CAD Manager and Vault Admin. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and Innovate teams to execute the Digital Design Tools Strategy and keep documentation current.

You will maintain digital asset libraries, assist design engineers, ensure CAD standard adherence, contribute to ERP-related asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years experience in design, engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PDM/ Vault preferred and experience drafting parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Align CAD workflows with broader engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain digital assets libraries and resolve model-to-build issues.
• Lead ERP asset modelling and Standard Part numbers coordination with other CAD specialists.
• Provide hands-on CAD support to design engineers and ensure adherence to standards.
• Contribute to Digital Design Tools initiatives and stay current with software changes.
• Document processes and maintain up-to-date standards and libraries.
