Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a CAD programmer for upholstery fabric to operate CAD machines and assist with production setup in Hickory, NC. The role requires basic CAD software skills and experience with fabric measurements and loading procedures.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety compliance, and collaboration with product development teams to ensure fabric patterns and specs are correctly entered in the Lectra system. On-site work with day shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with CAD program.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Program CAD machines that automatically cut upholstery fabric.
• Pull rolls of fabric and prepare for CAD cutter, then load/unload as needed.
• Input measurements into CAD program to set up markers for CAD operator.
• Verify fabric matches production ticket and follow safety policies.

Position Summary

Position Summary This position is responsible to program the CAD machines that automatically cuts upholstery fabric.

Position Details

Position Details Pull rolls fabric off of buggies and place on table. Assist CAD Cutter in loading and unloading fabric. Required to measure fabric (width and repeat). Must be able to input measurements into the CAD program in order to set up a marker for the CAD operator to use. Assist in pulling COM Fabric from the bins. Must be able to work off the production work ticket to cut fabric to standard. Must verify that fabric being cut matches the ticket. Work with Product Development on new styles and specs to put in the Lectra Program. Work with Product Development with new product introductions. Must follow all safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Position Requirements High school diploma or GED required Position requires at least 1 year of experience with CAD program Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and computer aided design systems related to pattern designs Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, etc.
