Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston, TX, is seeking a CAD/PLM Administrator to lead CAD standards, PLM governance, and document control across engineering modules. You will drive 3D model-based approaches and ensure seamless data flows between CAD/PLM and ERP systems.

The role requires proven PLM/PDM experience, drawing lifecycle ownership, and a deep understanding of enterprise integration. This hybrid position offers collaborative work in a growing energy technology team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in CAD, engineering data management, or design delivery in industrial, energy, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing
• Experience building CAD standards, drawing templates, and document governance systems from scratch
• Expert in at least one major CAD platform (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, NX, CATIA, or equivalent)
• Direct PLM or PDM experience: data model configuration, revision workflows, BOM management, or enterprise integration
• Full drawing lifecycle ownership from early design through IFC, construction, and as-built

Responsibilities

• CAD Standards: Build CAD standards, drafting conventions, title blocks, templates, file management across modules
• PLM Administration: Govern Teamcenter environment, part numbering, BOM structures, revision workflows, ECR/ECO/ECN
• Document Control and Transmittal: Ensure EDMS and transmittal workflow integrated with CAD/PLM
• Standardization: Drive standardization across engineering modules for scalability
• CAD and Plant Design: Use CAD tools (NX, AutoCAD, Revit) with data governance and good design practices
• PLM/PDM and EDMS: Manage workflow design and PLM administration to high standard
• Enterprise Integration: Understand BOMs, part masters, procurement data between PLM and ERP
