Job Description

The CAD/PDM Content Center Contractor is responsible for developing a customized Content Center using Autodesk Inventor to accelerate the rapid development of assembly models and drawings through the standardization of parts by creating models and defining schemes for frequently used components.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar also acceptable).
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++, or VBA).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to automation, scripting, or parametric design in CAD software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, 3D printing, or sheet metal design.
  • Proficient in usage of screw thread callouts.
