Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a CAD Operator in Las Vegas, NV to support fire alarm and electrical systems projects. You will draft and revise drawings, review designs for code compliance, and manage technical documentation while assisting with site visits.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is required, along with familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam. 2+ years of CAD drafting experience and knowledge of local NFPA/fire alarm standards are preferred.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CAD drafting experience.
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm design.
- Knowledge of local code requirements.
- Experience with BDA design.
- Understanding of field installation for low voltage Fire Alarm systems.

This role involves utilizing AutoCAD and other design software to create and manage technical documents while occasionally supporting field installation activities and site visits.
- Create and revise CAD drawings for Fire Alarm and Electrical Systems
- Review designs to ensure compliance with local codes and standards
- Manage technical documentation and coordinate revisions
- Support field installation with technical expertise during site visits
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software for drafting and design tasks
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm design and local code requirements
- Experience with BDA design
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Revit
