Job summary

Bartech Staffing is seeking a CAD operator in Detroit with experience across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural drafting. You will create and modify CAD drawings for multiple disciplines and produce 3D drafts using standard drafting practices to support project delivery.

You will generate dashboards and track data with relevant software tools, and may need to maintain and troubleshoot PC systems as required.

Qualifications

• College or university coursework in CAD operation.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with electric distribution systems (overhead, underground, or substations).

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify CAD drawings for mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural components
• Produce 3D drafts using standard drafting practices
• Generate dashboards and track data using relevant software tools

Requirements - education & experience

• College or university coursework in CAD operation
• Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation
• Familiarity with electric distribution systems (overhead, underground, or substations)

Required skills

• Ability to draw basic components in mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural fields
• Knowledge of standard 3D drafting techniques
• PC maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities
• Data tracking and dashboard generation

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Proficiency with Power BI
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Experience with AI tools
