Job summary

Accenture is seeking a CAD Librarian to build, standardize, and maintain a central mechanical CAD parts library for engineering teams. The role focuses on organizing metadata and libraries across Creo Parametric and PLM systems, enabling reuse of standard hardware and components.

You will support Design Engineers using Creo Parametric and Windchill PDMLink, migrate legacy data, and author guides for efficient part configuration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of parametric parts modeling in Creo Parametric (v10+).
• Minimum of 2 years in PDM/PLM systems, specifically Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Agile PLM (gPLM).
• Python scripting experience for CAD batch processing or data extraction (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Model and curate 3D CAD parts, family tables, and catalog items in Creo Parametric 10 or higher.
• Build and structure standard hardware libraries (fasteners, brackets, connectors, off-the-shelf components).
• Organize metadata, attributes, and file structures across Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Agile PLM (gPLM).
• Audit CAD data integrity, model geometry, layer states, and drawing standards before library check-in.
• Migrate and standardize legacy CAD models, drawing templates, and supplier catalog models into the central repository.
• Author documentation for design engineers on searching and configuring standard library parts.
• Provide front-line support for mechanical Design Engineering release processes, PRM, ECN.
