Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a CAD Librarian to build and maintain a central mechanical CAD parts library for engineering teams. You will structure data and establish a catalog for locating reusable standard fasteners and parametric components across projects, using Creo Parametric and Windchill PDMLink.

You will support Google Design Engineers, migrate legacy CAD data, audit data integrity, and author guides for searching and checking out standard library parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience modeling parametric parts, assemblies, and family tables.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Product Data Management (PDM) and PLM systems.
• Preferred: Creo Parametric (Version 10+) and Windchill/PLM tooling.

Responsibilities

• Model and curate 3D CAD parts, family tables, and library items in Creo Parametric 10 or higher.
• Build and structure standard hardware libraries (fasteners, brackets, connectors, off-the-shelf components).
• Organize metadata and file structures across Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Agile PLM.
• Audit CAD data integrity, model geometry, layer states, and drawing standards before library check-in.
• Migrate and standardize legacy CAD models and templates into the central repository.
• Author documentation for design engineers on searching, configuring, and checking out parts.
• Provide front-line support for mechanical design release processes and ECN.
