Job summary

T Baker Smith is seeking talented Project Technicians and Designers with civil design experience to support our growing teams throughout Louisiana and Texas! You will review field data, prepare designs and reports, and collaborate with project managers to deliver accurate drawings.

Field work may be required occasionally, and a Drafting and Design degree with 1–3 years of CADD experience is expected. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Survey, ArcGIS Pro and MS Office is essential, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Drafting and Design.
1-3 years of proven experience in CADD drafting/design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Survey, ArcGIS Pro, and MS Office.
Experience in forestry, wildlife, fisheries, botany, or similar fields is a plus.
Self-motivation and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
Willingness to participate in field work occasionally.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze and reduce raw data from field operations.
Prepares designs, drawings, reports, and calculations for the project.
Work closely with Environmental Project Managers to ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
Identify improvements to enhance service to clients.
Collaborate on assignments as part of a team and maintain reports.
Assist other project teams with technical, field, or other duties as needed.
