Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment's client in San Francisco is seeking a CAD/Geometry Engineer to own the geometry backbone of a generative CAD system. This is a hands-on, deeply technical role reporting to the Chief of Staff within a small, expert-dense founding team focused on transformative engineering AI.

You will build and optimize geometry pipelines, advance parametric geometry and constraint-solving, and apply kernel expertise (Parasolid, ACIS, OpenCASCADE) to design validation and topology

Qualifications

• 6+ years in computational geometry or CAD kernel engineering (required).
• Deep expertise in B-reps, NURBS, parametric geometry, and solid modeling.
• Strong C++ or Python for geometry processing.
• Hands-on experience with a production CAD kernel (Parasolid, ACIS, OpenCASCADE, or similar).
• PhD in computational geometry, physics, math, or CS is a plus.

About the Role

Our client is building generative AI foundation models for mechanical engineering design, is hiring a CAD/Geometry Engineer to own the geometry backbone of their generative CAD system. This is a hands‑on, deeply technical role reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, working within a small, expert‑dense founding team.

What You'll Do

• Build and optimize B-rep data pipelines for parametric CAD models
• Advance parametric geometry and constraint‑solving systems
• Apply CAD kernel expertise (Parasolid, ACIS, OpenCASCADE) to generative modeling
• Develop geometry processing systems for topology analysis and design validation
• Collaborate on the core geometric infrastructure powering next‑gen engineering AI

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in computational geometry or CAD kernel engineering (required)
• Deep expertise in B-reps, NURBS, parametric geometry, and solid modeling
• Strong C++ or Python for geometry processing
