Job summary

Gulfeagle-Supply Estimator position requires strong CAD drafting skills and the ability to read architectural plans. You will generate material estimates, operate estimating software, and design tapered roof insulation systems for commercial roofing projects.

The role involves reviewing roof plans, releasing drawings, and maintaining organized records. Collaboration with branch staff and contractors is essential, with accountability to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have post-secondary education in CAD Drafting.
• Basic English language usage, spelling, and mathematics.
• Ability to utilize computers including word processing programs.
• Experienced and educated in Computer Aided Design (CAD).

Responsibilities

• Receive roof plans, review, modify, and release plans using a CAD system.
• Design and produce owner drawings, custom detailed drawings, modify and release drawings using a CAD system.
• Value engineering: suggest cost-effective design alternatives.
• Communicate clearly with branch personnel and contractors.
• Assist team with order entry and inventory inquiries; file quoted jobs for up to 2 years.
• Report to the Branch Manager; support branch sales targets and budget.
