Greatjob is seeking an Engineer Drafter to create detailed drawings, schematics, and BOMs for turnkey pump packages using CAD tools. You will collaborate with engineers, shop staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal processes and industry standards.

You will develop P&ID-based designs, generate 2D and 3D CAD models with Inventor/AutoCAD, and maintain rigorous documentation and version control throughout the build.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Good math and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop original design, detailed technical drawings and schematics based on customer P&ID and specifications.
• Utilize Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD to create P&ID, 2D drawings, and 3D models.
• Create internal fabrication drawings with proper instructions to build equipment packages.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes from customer submittal document comments or internal design reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, shop personnel, and project managers to meet customer design requirements.
• Interpret rough sketches, notes, and verbal instructions to produce precise technical drawings suitable for fabrication.
• Maintain documentation and version control for all drafted plans.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
• Work with engineering team to prioritize project deadlines.
• Assist in estimating material costs and project timelines when necessary.
• Provide design support for shop personnel throughout the build process.
