Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a seasoned CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating in a real CAD environment on challenging tasks. You will design geometry, create reference solutions, and assess the agent's attempts with CFD colleagues.

The role requires 5+ years in CAD modelling, proficiency with Python and GitHub, and an active CAD licence. A Master’s/PhD is a plus, and English at B2 level or higher is expected.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar). Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus.
• An active professional CAD licence of your own (required).
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Project time expectations

Compensation

On this project, contributors can earn up to $69 per hour equivalent , depending on their level and pace of contribution.
