Mindrift is seeking a qualified CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design geometry, build reference solutions, and assess the agent's attempts alongside CFD engineers simulating your geometry.
A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required, with 5+ years of CAD modelling experience and an active CAD license. Proficiency in Python and GitHub is expected, and English should be at least B2 level.
Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks, work that would take an expert 10–15 hours. You'll design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts. You'll work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.
