You will design, test, and automate toolchains for physical design, place and route, and DRC workflows, collaborating with design, process, and manufacturing teams to improve methodologies and reliability.

Minimum qualifications include MS in a related field, 6+ months of Python/Tcl/C++, and Linux/EDA tools experience; PhD is a plus. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related STEM field required.
• 6+ months of experience with Python, Tcl, or C++.
• Experience with Linux, version management systems, and EDA tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software tools and automation for design environments.
• Capture requirements from internal stakeholders and translate into technical solutions.
• Write functional and test code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines for tool delivery and updates.
• Test tools with unit, integration, and end-to-end approaches.
• Develop scripts and automation for PD, P&R, and DRC workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware, process, and manufacturing teams to improve methodologies.
• Support CAD software administration and EDA tool infrastructure.
• Develop job management tools on distributed computing systems.
