Qualifications

• This position requires U.S. Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Education: Associate's degree in CAD Design or a related field required.
• 2 years of recent and related work experience required; in lieu of degree, 5 years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software for 2D modeling and design.
• Ability to operate and maintain production cutting equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilize CAD software to create/modify patterns for laser and wheel cutting.
• Operate and maintain cutting tables with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Perform quality checks on cuts to ensure specifications and standards are met.
• Manage fabric and supply inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and workspace organization.
• Provide training on cutting best practices and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot cutters and software errors to resolve cut failures.
