Job summary

Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Drafting/VDC professional for our Holliston, MA team. The role focuses on 3D CAD modeling, translating field docs into formal CAD as-builts, and preparing shop drawings and Hilti layouts for installation.

You will support the Project Management team and Foreman with model visualizations and coordination with trades, leveraging Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks and Bluebeam expertise.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with other trades.
• Knowledge of Hilti systems.
• Prior electrical field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical and teledata systems in 3D CAD and/or Revit.
• Transfer field documents into formalized CAD as-builts.
• Produce field shop drawings and Hilti layouts for installation.
• Assist PM and Foreman with model visualizations.

As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Electrical Drafting/VDC team in Holliston, MA.

Responsibilities Include:

• Modeling electrical and teledata systems in 3D CAD and/or Revit
• Transferring field documents into formalized CAD as-builts
• Producing field shop drawings and/or Hilti layouts for the installation of work
• Assisting the Project Management team and Foreman with model visualizations

Must Haves:

• Proficient in the latest versions of Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks and Bluebeam; certifications are preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work cross functionally, including coordinating with other trades assigned to projects.
• Knowledge of Hilti systems
• Prior electrical field experience is a plus
