Job summary
CRH Americas Building Products in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Drafting Technician to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will build accurate shop and catalog drawings and maintain the digital library, working closely with the Division Engineer, Sales, Production, and Quality Control to ensure products align with latest drawings.
The role requires experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor, a high school diploma or associate degree, and strong detail
Qualifications
- 2+ years of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor experience.
- High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-project management.
Responsibilities
- Create shop drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings for production.
- Maintain catalog drawings for production and QC.
- Update digital database and engineering documents (Autodesk Vault).
- Support sales staff and plant projects with drawings.
