Job summary

WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to produce precise 2D drawings and basic 3D models using CAD software. You will translate sketches and specs into accurate drawings supporting design, manufacturing, and construction processes.

Ideal candidates have strong technical drawing skills, knowledge of design standards, and the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects. Collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Drafting or related technical field preferred.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Understanding of technical drawing principles and conventions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial visualization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital file management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn new drafting tools and standards.

Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing Development: create detailed 2D drawings and basic 3D models.
• Design Interpretation: review sketches and specs to produce accurate drawings.
• Drawing Revision: update drawings to reflect changes and feedback.
• Design Coordination: collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers.
• Dimensioning and Annotation: apply dimensions, symbols, tolerances, notes.
• Documentation Management: organize and archive drawings and files.
• Standards Compliance: ensure drawings meet industry standards and procedures.
• Quality Control: review drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Technical Support: prepare drawing packages and supporting docs.
• File Management: maintain version control and distribute drawings.
