Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of Terex Corporation, seeks a drafting support technician to create detailed CAD drawings and schematics from specifications. You will consult with engineers, update layouts, and ensure accurate dimensions and BOMs for production in a plant setting.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, 0–2 years of related experience, proficiency in CAD/CAE, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry and vocational standards preferred.
• CAD and CAE software experience.
• Experience with problem solving techniques (5 why & root cause analysis).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with production teams and leadership.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from markups using CAD equipment.
• Lay out and detail components and systems; resolve design problems and ensure timely completion.
• Review specifications and drawings to assess factors affecting designs.
• Modify designs to correct deficiencies or reduce production problems.
• Check dimensions and ensure proper fit and function.
• Maintain CAD standards and the library of production drawings and BOMs.
