Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a draftsman to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings and digital libraries for the website, working closely with Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure products reflect latest parts and shop drawings.

The role is based at our San Antonio plant in Texas and requires AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor proficiency, a high school diploma (Associates preferred), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create shop drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to customer and internal timelines and expectations.
• Prepare and maintain catalog drawings for production and QC.
• Develop product assembly or shop drawings for sales and plant projects.
• Update digital database and engineering documents.
