Job summary

NCS is seeking a CAD designer in Phoenix to work on water and wastewater projects, including process diagrams, P&IDs, and 3D layouts. The role emphasizes AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with potential work in related disciplines. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are required.

Minimum associate degree in engineering/drafting; bachelor’s degree preferred. AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience (2+ years) is expected, with strong MS Office skills. Full benefits and performance bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree in engineering, drafting, or architectural fields.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD or CIVIL 3D.

Responsibilities

• Draft water/wastewater facilities in CAD per company templates.
• Support mechanical and process design for projects with CAD outputs.
• Prepare piping details, sections, 3D layouts, isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with design disciplines and project manager for requirements.
• Maintain design/drafting standards and adapt to client needs.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other CAD tools to complete assignments.
