Water Works Engineers in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a CAD Designer to translate complex civil and environmental concepts into buildable plans. You will produce design models and documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit for water and wastewater projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Design, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Revit across civil, structural, and mechanical design tasks.
• Exposure to MicroStation is a plus.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, site, and environmental design practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural, structural, and mechanical design models and drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Produce detailed design plans from conceptual sketches and engineering inputs.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to integrate designs across disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress.
• Utilize MS Office for documentation and deliverable preparation.
• Stay current with evolving design tools and best practices.
