Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Sussex, WI is seeking a Product Support CAD Designer I to provide CAD design and documentation support within the Product Support Engineering function. This role sustains existing product designs through drawing updates, BOM maintenance, ECN/ECR processes, and documentation improvements.

You will collaborate with Product Support Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure drawings, models, BOMs, and routings reflect current production standards and support timely

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in mechanical or electrical design.
• 1 year of relevant experience in CAD/design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and related product documentation.
• Support daily operations by updating drawings for line builds, testing, and production improvements.
• Assist engineers with ECNs, ECRs, and release documentation.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and drawings to align with production standards.
• Support documentation for component obsolescence and replacement parts.
