Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a Designer I/II/III to support development and preparation of design documentation for facility and plant modification projects, equipment installations, and other engineering initiatives.

This role collaborates with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant design deliverables that support safe and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Produce accurate design documents using manual or CADD techniques.
• Communicate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely deliverables.
• Understand design standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, concise, thorough engineering documents.
• Gather and develop engineering data and perform field investigations as needed.
• Ensure conformance to procedures and regulations in task performance.
• Compile documentation for projects and expedite transmission to field units.
