Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking a Designer I/II to support plant design updates by preparing and modifying Plant Design Change Packages and related documentation. The role focuses on gathering, organizing, and developing engineering data to ensure accurate, well-documented design changes ready for implementation, supporting safe and reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; two years of college or technical coursework in CAD or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Two years design experience in the relevant area may be required for some business units.
• Valid driver's license may be required in some work areas.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify Plant Design Change Packages and related documents.
• Gather, organize and develop engineering data from design documentation.
• Assist in development of Design Change Notices and Bills of Materials; support field walkthroughs for design accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to ensure design documentation aligns with project needs.
