Job summary

Fulton is seeking a CAD DESIGNER I to ensure CAD standards and tools are used to provide accurate and timely CAD data (3D and 2D) that support sales, manufacturing and profitability. You will work under Project Managers and Engineering teams.

The role requires collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing to finalize drawings, maintain CAD data in Autodesk Vault, and create intelligent tools to accelerate design. Autodesk Inventor and parametric CAD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Autodesk Inventor experience preferred.
• 3 years Parametric Modeling CAD experience preferred.
• Technical A.S., CAD Certification, or B.S. preferred.
• Programming experience in any language (C, Visual Basic, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing to ensure accurate drawings on schedule per requirements.
• CAD data maintenance on Autodesk Vault with proper folder structure and naming policies.
• Create intelligent models and drawing tools to shorten creation time for drawings and documents; interface with business systems.
• Incorporate feedback from internal and external customers; identify continuous improvement opportunities.
