Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, in Louisville, KY, is seeking an energetic CAD Drafter to convert engineer mark-ups into precise drawings and layouts while adhering to company CAD standards. This role supports multiple projects across building systems and requires a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to create and revise drawings, manage workload, perform occasional site visits to gather information, and print/scan/organize CAD

Job Description:

The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with CAD software to create and modify technical drawings and layouts in accordance with company CAD standards. Sources of information for creating drawings will be engineer's mark-ups, existing hard copy drawings, sketches, and scanned images. Someone in this position will need to be able to:

• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other CAD staff to create and revise drawings.
• Manage workload including volunteering to help others as well as ask for additional support if needed.
• Perform occasional site visits to obtain necessary information.
• Print, scan, and organize CAD drawings as needed.

Desired Experience and Skills:
