Job summary

M&S Engineering, LLC is seeking a CAD Designer to join our growing distribution team in Georgetown, Texas. You will provide design on various utility projects, preparing construction plans using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

The role requires 2+ years of electric distribution design experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with multiple disciplines. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and room to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of prior experience with electric distribution design.
• Demonstrated experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment within the office and with different disciplines.
• Can work independently and request guidance.
• Meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain company confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with drafters, technicians, and engineers on assignments.
• Assist in detailed phases of technical work.
• Assist in acquiring easement information and verified survey data.
• Ensure compliance with distribution engineering standards.
