Job summary

Cavco Industries, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer or CAD Drafter to collaborate with Sales, Engineering/Quality, and Manufacturing to produce 3D renderings and 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD.

You will ensure accuracy of drawings and BOMs while maintaining drafting standards across projects. The role requires a high school diploma with drafting exposure and 1+ year in drafting or manufacturing, plus strong mechanical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with drafting fundamentals exposure.
• 1+ year of manufacturing assembly or drafting experience.
• Strong computer skills; AutoCAD preferred, Chief Architect a plus.
• Strong mechanical, problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Develops accurate production drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Coordinates drawings and BOMs with other drafters, Sales or Manufacturing.
• Maintains drafting standards and the library of drawings and BOMs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
