Job summary

Cavco Industries, Inc. in Glendale, AZ is seeking a CAD Designer or CAD Drafter to join our engineering and manufacturing teams.

You will produce 3D renderings and 2D construction drawings (AutoCAD), collaborating across Sales, Engineering/Quality, and Manufacturing to turn concepts into production-ready files. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to drafting standards, and updating BOMs, with duties including coordinating drawings and maintaining the library of production documents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with drafting fundamentals exposure.
• One or more years of manufacturing assembly or drafting experience.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD (Chief Architect a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develops accurate production drawings, bills of materials and/or tooled parts layout.
• Coordinates drawings and materials with Drafters, Sales and Manufacturing to ensure timely completion.
• Maintains current Drafting Standards for consistent output.
• Keeps the library of production drawings and BOMs accessible to all departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
