Johnson Controls, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina, is seeking a qualified candidate who will provide initial design setup and prepare complex system design drawings as a part of a collaborative team. This hybrid role allows for training in-office while requiring strong experience with AutoCAD 2D and proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications.

The position offers an hourly range of $24-$33 based on qualifications, and includes a competitive benefits package. Exceptional candidates may warrant consideration beyond this range.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years minimum experience in related field.
• Willingness to work in the office for training as part of a hybrid role.
• Strong experience with AutoCAD 2D is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Provides initial design setup for all assigned projects.
• Prepares complex system design drawings in collaboration with others.
• Facilitates preparation of owner/operation manuals using CAD software.
• Checks accuracy of own work and maintains project drawing files.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by less experienced CAD personnel.

Connaissances

Experience with AutoCAD 2D
