Responsibilities:

The Client Military Aircraft Actuation Development Engineering Group is seeking a Design Drafter to collaborate with Design, Product, and Manufacturing engineering teams. The role involves converting complex legacy 2D drawings into 3D solid models to support advanced manufacturing methods.

The position requires interpreting various drawings and layouts, utilizing the Client CAD System, Siemens Teamcenter, and NX, to generate solid models and manufacturing information for CAM operations.

Competent use of CAD software is essential.

Requirements:

• An associate degree in a technical major with 1-3 years of drafting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, experience with User Defined Features (UDF) and GD&T.
• US Citizenship is required due to involvement with government programs.
• This role reports to the East Aurora actuation site engineering manager and requires onsite work in East Aurora, NY.
