Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) seeks an innovative Designer to support the Containment (Data Center) business segment. You will develop custom designs, produce quote and fabrication drawings, and provide technical support through the sales process, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customers to meet project requirements.

The role emphasizes manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement using AI-enabled tools and modern CAD workflows.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology.
3–5 years of CAD design experience in manufacturing, architecture or construction-related industries.
Proficiency with SolidWorks required; experience with fabrication and installation drawings.

Responsibilities

Create quote drawings and technical layouts using SolidWorks, DriveWorks, Visio and Inventor.
Develop fabrication, installation and assembly drawings for containment systems.
Design custom containment solutions based on customer requirements and field conditions.
Provide technical design support to sales throughout quotation and project lifecycle.
