We are looking for a skilled designer with a strong foundation in parametric modeling, a meticulous eye for manufacturability, and a curiosity for engineering automation. You will play a vital role in delivering accurate, efficient, customer-specific products while collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and IT. While experience with DriveWorks is a plus, we are committed to investing in training for a talented designer who enjoys solving complex configuration challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate automated drawings, bills of material, and engineering outputs.
  • Support engineering change implementation and new product introductions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify product configurations and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales, IT, and Engineering.
  • Translate product requirements and design standards into reliable CAD models, configuration logic, bills of material, and drawing outputs.
  • Support the engineering release of new products, product enhancements, and custom solutions.
  • Implement engineering changes across models, assemblies, drawings, bills of material, and configuration tools.
  • Maintain organized engineering data, product documentation, revision information, and design standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience with SolidWorks or another parametric CAD platform.
  • Experience creating manufacturing drawings and assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of parametric modeling principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions.
  • Eagerness to learn new engineering and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with bills of material, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and engineering change practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and lookup functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DriveWorks.
  • Experience with configurable or engineer-to-order products.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar product data management software.
  • Knowledge of bills of material and manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, data center, or mission-critical environment.
