Job summary

Oklahoma State Chamber seeks a Design & Construction Documents Technician to create and maintain architectural drawings and site plans using AutoCAD. The role involves fieldwork, updating as-built records, and coordinating with architects/engineers for district projects.

Required eight years of drafting-related experience; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work background is needed. This full-time, non-exempt position offers comprehensive benefits and a structured salary range.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience as a high-level draftsperson, intern, designer, or project coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain architectural drawings, site utility plans, security plans, and related drawings using AutoCAD and PDF tools.
• Maintain a district drawings database including paper/electronic records and property related documents.
• Prepare drawings for capital improvements and collaborate with external architects/engineers as needed.
• Perform fieldwork to locate existing conditions and record changes to building systems.
• Record and update as-built drawings and master drawing database with changes.
• Maintain aerial and site facility photographs and the Facility Guide.
• Coordinate communication between facilities personnel on construction/maintenance projects.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
