Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) in Collierville, TN seeks a Designer to join the mechanical and civil drafting team. You will prepare engineering details and concept plans, supporting projects from inception through completion using AutoCAD in 2D or 3D as required.

The role requires hands-on CAD experience, strong organization, client interaction, and the ability to meet deadlines while collaborating with engineers and project staff.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years related experience in engineering drafting/design role.
• Hands-on CAD experience and proficiency with AutoCAD products.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering and construction plan documents for projects.
• Create 2D or 3D designs as required and support project teams from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with senior staff, engineers, and customers to meet deadlines.
