Job summary

The DDS Companies is seeking a Designer in Collierville, TN to support engineering projects with CAD drafting and 3D modeling. You will prepare details, complex designs, and concept plans primarily using AutoCAD tools, contributing from inception to completion within a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include producing 2D/3D drawings, collaborating with senior staff, and interacting with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years related experience in an engineering drafting/design role.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with project team members.
• Ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering and construction plan documents for projects.
• Create engineering details and complex designs to support engineering work.
• Produce drawings in 2D or 3D per project requirements.
• Collaborate with senior staff and project teams from inception to completion.
• Interact with clients and contractors during the design phase.
