Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Bellevue or Seattle, WA. This individual will provide planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
4+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities.
Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation and modification of engineering documents (reports, plans, schedules, cost estimates) using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topography for design implications.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
Perform other duties as requested.
