Job summary

Genesis Products LLC in Mocksville, NC is seeking a CAD Designer to join our engineering team. You will create CAD designs and detailed drawings, develop CNC tool paths, and support prototype and production builds to ensure designs meet functionality and quality standards.

You will coordinate with manufacturing to verify programming, inspect parts, and troubleshoot CNC issues. Fluency in AutoCAD and CNC software, strong problem-solving, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in AutoCAD and CNC programming software.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings / production orders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment and to give/receive feedback.
• Ability to inspect parts for compliance upon execution of programs.
• Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD designs and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate prototype and production sample builds.
• Create CNC tool paths for manufacturing products.
• Oversee CNC processes to verify proper programming and part accuracy.
• Nest CNC machines to maximize yield and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide support to manufacturing and coordinate changes in production.
• Generate CAD designs and prints for new and changing products.
• Assist in developing procedures and processes to support the Product Team.
• Interface with others in the organization and customers to determine needs.
