Job summary

Troy Bankord Design in Palm Springs invites an independent contractor for part-time landscape/interior design drafting. You will draft base AutoCAD plans, perform site measurements, and develop presentation drawings while working directly with the lead designer.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop and the Adobe Suite is essential; familiarity with LandFX and 3D rendering is preferred. Reliable laptop and transportation for site visits are required.

Job description

Troy Bankord Design is looking for an individual possessing the following qualifications for fill-in work:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Cad, SketchUp, Photoshop, Rhino and perhaps working knowledge of Land F/XandAdobe Suite. Position requires basic knowledge of landscape/interior design, site measuring, photography and the gathering of project details… planting design and knowledge of acceptable plants for the Palm Springs, LA & Southern California areas.
Position will require site visits, measuring projects (homes and businesses) and developing base plans in AutoCAD for design development. Will be responsible for drafting design and creating final presentation-style drawings. You will work directly with the lead designer, providing both design solutions and assistance to the overall design.

Proficiency in 3-D rendering and AI preferred.
Must have laptop computer with appropriate programs (noted above).
Requirements: Knowledge, education or previous working experience within the landscape and/or interior design field. Reliable transportation.
