Job summary

SunPower in Orem, Utah is seeking an Entry Level CAD Designer to create install plans for solar and battery projects. You will verify proposals, conduct site surveys, and produce AutoCAD drawings covering layout, structural, and electrical aspects.

The role supports projects from design through materials list creation, with a FT or PT work arrangement in an in-office setting.

Compensation: $18-20/hour

Position Summary:

PV Designers are responsible for the creation of install plans for all solar and battery projects. This includes proposal verification, site survey verification, AutoCAD drawings, and bill of materials creation. Each designer is responsible for the layout, structural, and electrical portion of every plan set that they create.

Minimum Qualifications:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
