Are you a hardworking individual looking for an opportunity for growth? If so, Emerson has an excellent opportunity located in Marshalltown, Iowa. The CAD Designer takes charge of crafting mechanical engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and handling part numbers in system. This role supports both the design of new products and the improvement of existing designs, collaborating closely with various departments including engineering, simulation, manufacturing, marketing, and suppliers.
Precision in calculations such as minimum wall checks, stem lengths, surface areas, and unit conversions (mm to inch) is important for producing accurate 2D layouts and comprehensive 3D assembly models. Additionally, the role involves data entry and maintenance tasks within the Oracle database system, supporting multi-functional operations across the organization.
This position requires excellent skills in communications, process improvement, as well as configuration of CAD Software. You will need to have strong CAD skills and understanding of the SolidWorks & PDM Pro software.
