Elevait Solutions LLC in Concord, NC is hiring a Senior CAD Designer to create and revise floor plans showing equipment locations, footprints, and safe access for manufacturing facilities.

You will coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and process utilities, prepare installation drawings, and support capacity expansion and plant layout changes on site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of CAD drafting experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent.
• Experience creating or revising manufacturing plant and equipment layouts from engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models, including footprints, utility connections, and clearances
• Experience producing drawings for building services such as MEP, HVAC, fire protection, or process utilities
• Local to the Concord, NC area and able to work onsite

Responsabilités

• Create and revise floor plans showing equipment locations, footprints, clearances, operator access, and safety zones
• Coordinate equipment placement with electrical power, controls, compressed air, water, gas, ventilation, process piping, and drainage
• Prepare installation and relocation drawings for production equipment, including foundations, anchoring, service connections, and access requirements
• Produce and revise drawings for building services, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and process utility systems
• Draw building and site layouts, infrastructure, facility upgrades, and equipment service projects
• Fold vendor drawings, utility requirements, and field-verification data into final layouts and as-built documentation
• Support manufacturing and facilities engineering on capacity expansion, equipment moves, and plant layout changes
• Check layouts for safe operation, maintenance access, ergonomics, material movement, and safety and building standards
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project goals

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed

What You ll Do

What We Need From You
