Job summary

MAPEI Inc. is seeking a CAD Design Specialist Intern to support our Concrete Restoration Systems team by creating and updating CAD drawings, layouts and technical illustrations.

You will assist with submittals, specifications, and customer materials, and develop product application details for restoration systems. You will gain hands-on experience translating technical concepts into accurate visuals, with potential for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CAD Design, Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical information.
• Willingness to travel and a proactive learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and update CAD drawings, details, layouts, and technical illustrations.
• Support project submittals, specifications, presentations, and customer materials.
• Develop product application details for concrete repair and restoration systems.
• Revise drawings based on project requirements and technical‑team feedback.
• Help maintain drawing libraries, templates, standards, and project files.
• Review plans and project information to support technical recommendations.
