Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Design Engineer in Danbury, CT to automate CAD for custom projects using DriveWorks and to advance SolidWorks modeling and fabrication drawings. You will develop rules for CAD automation and collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines in a hands-on, in-person role.

The ideal candidate has mid- to senior-level SolidWorks expertise, sheet metal and piping knowledge, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Danbury.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Industrial Design.
• SolidWorks experience with sheet metal and piping.
• DriveWorks proficiency required.
• Logic programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D SolidWorks models and fabrication drawings.
• Automate SolidWorks projects with DriveWorks.
• Incorporate engineering calculations in DriveWorks.
• Collaborate with factory to improve manufacturing methods.
• Collaborate with combustion and fuel handling designers to improve CAD methods.
