Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Design Drafter II to support trailer manufacturing through CAD design, engineering documentation, customization, and product development while maintaining high standards for quality, cost, delivery, and safety.

You will create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and BOMs; participate in design reviews; collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams; and drive improvements in manufacturability, quality, and cost in a fast-paced on-site Cresco, IA

Qualifications

Education and experience requirements aligned with the Design Drafter II role level.
Strong CAD and technical documentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
Knowledge of manufacturing and aluminum fabrication processes.
Commitment to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
Support trailer design, customization, and product development activities.
Participate in design reviews and engineering change processes.
Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to support successful product development and manufacturing.
Drive improvements in manufacturability, quality, and cost.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective action efforts.
