Job summary

Kolpak, a Welbilt brand, is seeking an Associate CAD Designer for our Parsons, Tennessee plant. You will prepare submittal drawings using Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D while evaluating quotes for basic design compliance.

You’ll report to the Design Engineering Manager and collaborate with CAD II/III teams to advance your skills. Must learn and follow prescribed procedures, maintain on-time submittal metrics, and use tracking tools to log daily progress.

Qualifications

• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices; ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Completion of training required by safety/training matrix within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Create submittal drawings using Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D.
• Learn to evaluate quotes for accuracy and coordinate with CSR.
• Use tracking software to log daily work.
• Communicate results and underlying risks clearly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
