Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks an Orthotic/Prosthetic Digital Technician to handle digital preparation, design, and model rectification of devices using CADCAM and 3-D printing.

You will manipulate anatomical files, apply precise design adjustments and collaborate with clinicians to optimize outcomes. The role requires CAD/CAM experience, 3D printing knowledge, and strong computer skills, with CPR certification due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Experience with CAD/CAM and 3D printing.
• Advanced computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing workflows.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, manipulate and prepare anatomical files for CADCAM/3-D printing.
• Apply appropriate force, alignment and material thickness for prosthetic designs.
• Develop digital design workflows and manage CADCAM setup.
• Review outcomes with clinicians to optimize orthotic/prosthetic design.
